128GB is enough for general use. If you work with RAW photos, 4K video or large Procreate files, choose 256GB or higher. Cloud storage stretches the base model a long way, but offline creative work fills space fast, and iPads cannot be expanded later. A sensible test: check what your current devices hold now, and pick the tier comfortably above that number.
