Yes, both the Apple Pencil Pro and the USB-C Apple Pencil work with the iPad Air 6. The older Pencil with a Lightning connection is not compatible. Yes, the M2 chip and the large screen make it perfectly suited to note-taking, PDF work and drawing, although it lacks the 120Hz of the Pro models. In practice that refresh-rate difference bothers far fewer people than the spec sheet suggests. The 13-inch format shows a full page at readable size, which makes studying, annotating and sketching feel far less cramped than on smaller tablets.
For cloud use, 128GB is enough. If you work with large files or want a lot of offline media, choose 256GB or more. Streaming services, web browsing and everyday apps barely touch your storage, while downloaded video, big game libraries and heavy creative files eat it quickly. Since storage cannot be expanded afterwards, it is worth choosing slightly generously if your usage sits between those two profiles.
