How to get more for your old device
Three things determine the offer: the model, the condition and the honesty of your description. Clean the device, gather the original box and cable if you have them (a plus, not a requirement), and simply be upfront about damage — the check reveals it anyway, and an accurate offer up front prevents disappointment. Cracked screen? Sometimes it pays to have it repaired first and trade in afterwards; we are happy to do that maths with you in the shop.
Transfer and wipe your data safely
Before trading in: make a backup (iCloud or computer), set up your new device from it, then erase the old one via factory reset. Also switch off Find My iPhone and remove your eSIM — without those steps no shop can accept your device. Visit the store and we help you transfer everything free of charge.
