What causes broken screens on the Huawei P20?
Drop damage is the most common cause of cracked screens.
Since the front consists almost entirely of glass, there is a good chance it will crack if the screen lands on a hard surface.
With drop damage, it is usually the touchscreen that cracks while the underlying display remains intact.
Pressure damage occurs less often but causes the same problems.
The biggest difference is that with pressure damage, it is usually the underlying display that cracks rather than the touchscreen.
