Removing stains
Microfibre cloths and glasses cloths work best and should be enough to get your device shining again.
For stubborn stains you can use an antibacterial spray. Always spray it onto the cloth first and never directly onto the screen.
Moisture can seep into the tiniest openings and cause a short circuit.
To be on the safe side, you can always switch your phone off first.
Removing scratches
You can remove small scratches or make them less visible with a polish for your smartphone, also known as display polish.
Make sure you buy the right product, as they differ for touchscreen displays.
Removing dust
Dust can build up in the charging port, the buttons and other openings.
That can affect how they work.
You can remove dust with a small pin, but also with a vacuum cleaner.
Repairers often use a can of compressed air.
Just make sure you hold it upright, otherwise liquid can come out.
Clearing storage space
There are a number of apps that help you clear your storage space.
We recommend ‘SD Maid’ for Samsung smartphones. In this app you can select what you want to clean up yourself: your files, apps or duplicates, for example.
It is also possible to clean the inside of your smartphone.
We advise you to have this done by a professional repairer.
