What does water damage do to your Apple iPhone SE?

Normally, The Phone Shopper would advise removing the battery immediately.
However, Apple does not use removable batteries in their devices, which unfortunately makes this impossible.
A prompt professional cleaning is therefore the only real solution.
Cost of iPhone SE water damage cleaning
The total cost for a water damage repair treatment is €25.
The process can take up to 24 hours: we first disassemble all components and clean them by hand,
after which the device undergoes an automated cleaning cycle lasting 12 to 20 hours.
The results are excellent in most cases. However, it is possible that a short circuit has caused a component to stop functioning properly.
In that case, we will always consult with you first regarding any additional costs required to get your device fully operational again.
These situations are the exception rather than the rule, as the water damage treatment typically restores the smartphone to full working order for no more than €25.
Warranty on water damage repair
Unfortunately, The Phone Shopper is unable to offer a warranty on the final outcome of a water damage repair.
What we can say is that we have not received any complaints to date — however, on that basis alone we cannot provide a formal warranty on water-damaged phones.
